Our Process

At Green Leaf Bin Cleaning, we follow a thorough, environmentally responsible process

to leave your trash and recycling bins clean, sanitized, and deodorized.

Bin Inspection

Before cleaning begins, we inspect each bin for remaining debris. If loose trash is present, we can bag it and return it to your bin once the cleaning is complete.

For the safety of our equipment and technicians, we cannot service bins containing paint, chemicals, oils, cat litter, feces, or other hazardous materials. If we find any of that, we will contact you to explain why service could not be completed.

Pre-Treatment

Your bin is moved to the rear of our self-contained cleaning unit, where we apply an eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning solution to the interior. This loosens built-up grime, grease, and residue before the wash begins.

High-Pressure Hot Water Cleaning

Using hydraulic lifters, your bin is positioned over our cleaning system. Powerful rotating spray heads deliver a high-pressure 200°F hot water wash across every interior surface, removing stuck-on debris, eliminating odors, and sanitizing the bin.

Combined with our biodegradable cleaning solution, this process helps significantly reduce common bacteria on your bin surfaces.

Sanitizing & Deodorizing

After the interior is clean, the bin is lowered to the ground. Our technician sanitizes the inside of the lid and cleans the exterior so the whole bin is fresh, not just the inside.

We then apply a hypoallergenic, eco-friendly deodorizer that leaves a clean, pleasant scent without harsh chemical fragrances.

Last step: a small strip of removable painter's tape on the bin handle, so you know your service is done.

Environmentally Responsible Disposal

Our mobile cleaning system is completely self-contained, which means all wastewater is captured during the cleaning process. Instead of letting contaminated water run into storm drains, we transport it and dispose of it at an approved local treatment facility.

The biodegradable cleaning products we use are safe for the environment and chosen to protect our local water systems.

That's the whole process, every visit.
